客户要求through hardened to 55-56HRC 的铸件，

through hardened 是什么硬度。是否是整体硬度啊？
我改用什么材料啊。铸件完了还要热处理。

请师傅们指导！

是整体淬硬的意思！铸件完成了是否还要热处理，是看你的材料、尺寸等。

有心淬火是指心部不淬透，又怎么会有55-56的硬度。

我理解应该是：整体淬火，表面硬度55-56HRC

through 也有结束、完毕的意思，throughhardened to 55-56HRC 也可以理解为：最终硬度为55~56HRC

throughhardened 不是这样的。老外跟我说，如果是客户指定了through Hardened.那就不需要有case hardness(表面硬度层了）。 那说明首先他是一个整体硬度。
我不明白的，Through Hardened to 55-56HRC的测试方法。我的白痴想法是，如果用一个硬的东西去戳穿产品，那个东西的硬度需要55-56HRC的硬度。这个是我理解的Through hardened的概念。
不知道是否正确，老师们请指点。

至于心部是多少硬度，你不用担心，是由材料牌号、淬火介质和你的工件厚度自然决定的，不需要去人为控制的！

"Through hardnened" means that all of the material (the entire object) is hardened to the same hardness.Thus if you section a sample and do a harness traverse, it is the same harndess at all points across the cross-section.The word "through" means "to go across" so thus the hardness goes across the entire object.

根据你的工件材质和有效尺寸，你认为能否达到the hardness goes across the entire object？

恩是的。这个取决与材料的选择和产品的尺寸。
其实客户也会考虑如果产品很厚，直径很大的产品一般不会用Through hardened去要求，薄的产品有这样的要求。
一般厚度直径大的产品,要求高的产品，一般只要求 CASE HARDNESS, CASE DEPTH, 和CORE HARDNESS
