"The sysytem reflects the diligence commonly exercised in the handling and production of steel castings"
what does the word "diligence" mean here? These words appear in a certificate in accordance with AD 2000-Merkblatt W0.

when I looked up Longman dictionary of American English，I found that diligence means“ work hard and carefully”。
The sysytem（该体系，估计指的是a certificate in accordance with AD 2000-Merkblatt W0） reflects（反映了） the diligence commonly exercised in the handling and production of steel castings"
