    In a heat treatment specification,I read the sentence:at corner radii that are less than 0.030" the ECD must be 0.018" minimum.(在小于0.03英寸的圆角半径处，有效层深最小为0.018英寸）。I'm not sure.
   The part is a shaft with gear.We always check the ECD at gear pitch, gear root radius and journal.I don't understand why the customer require us to check the corner radii that are less than 0.030".
